What does the UN Convention of 1948 say about the Armenian Genocide? Can one refrain from
recognising the Armenian Genocide 1915 since the UN Convention did not exist until 1948? Does
the present Turkey have any obligations regarding the act of genocide committed by Ottoman Turkey? These and many other aspects of the
1915 genocide are discussed in the highly interesting article by Prof. Alfred de Zayas, former Secretary of the UN Human Rights Committee. Click

Swedish Archives Confirm: It was a genocide!
A newly conducted study at the Uppsala University has revealed highly interesting information about
the Swedish knowledge of the ongoing annihilation of the Armenian nation in Ottoman Turkey. The study
covers the period between 1915 and 1923 and deals with the information dellivered by Swedish newspapers,
missionary workers, Swedish Embassy and the Military Mission in Turkey.
The study will be available here in the coming days and on the Uppsala University Seminar
page.

April 24, 2007 marked the
92nd remembrance day of the Armenian Genocide
in the Ottoman Empire. Last year we designed and printed a poster
which was distributed freely to schools, universities, libraries
and other institutions, but it was also frequently downloaded
from our site. This year we have a new poster which can be downloaded
here or click on the image below.
The older posters are available at our material section.
